Marian Shved

The Ukrainian 22-year-old winger, Marian Shved, would be another prime candidate for a loan spell out of Parkhead. Having been signed in January 2019 from Ukrainian-side Karpaty Lviv, but was loaned back to the side for the remainder of that season, racking up 14 goals in 24 league appearances in Lviv.

Returning to Glasgow that summer, he stuck with Celtic through the 2019-2020 campaign, making only two appearances for the club. Even with only two appearances, he made quite the introduction to the first team, netting a goal in that second qualifying round Champions League match against Nõmme Kalju FC.

Breaking into the squad from behind the talented likes of James Forrest is clearly no easy task, but Shved has mostly lacked chances with the side to display his talent. With his struggles to acclimate to the Scottish Premiership having been well noted, Marian could do well to see some increased playing time through a loan spell to another side.
