Stuart McCall who was apart of Rangers’ nine-in-a-row has a new and absurd plan on how the Ibox club can stop Celtic’s 10-in-a-row.

Does it ever stop? The insane talk out of the Ibrox club’s former managers, players and supporters about Celtic’s dominance over the domestic league? The answer is no. It never stops. Now throwing his name into the ring is former Rangers assistant Stuart McCall.

Celtic won the 10-in-a-row, there is no “ifs”, “ands” or “buts” about it. And as much as the Ibrox club would love there are no asterisks attached to the championship either. Instead, the Hoops destroyed all competition coming out of the winter break and let Rangers implode upon returning from the New Year.

So, how does Rangers stop the Hoops 10-in-a-row (Spoiler: they don’t). But apparently Stuart McCall has an idea that he thinks could be of some use. And to be completely honest his ideas are some of the best that we have heard from the Ibrox club.

Speaking with The Scottish Sun, here are the former-Rangers man’s ideas as to how the club could best go about defeating Celtic for the league championship:

"“Rangers have to find players who won’t wilt under the pressure of trying to stop Celtic.“Most people looking in from the outside will have Celtic as the favourites to be champions again and I can understand that.“It isn’t inevitable, though. Nothing is in football — but the major thing for Steven is to get his recruitment right between now and the games kicking off again.“When he was appointed manager he was essentially given three years to build a team which was capable of stopping Celtic from making it to ten.“Last season was huge for him, but this one is going to be MASSIVE.“That’s why the players he brings to the club this summer need to be capable of handling everything which will come their way. I’m not talking about spending millions, either."

So hang on. What McCall is suggesting is similar to what Celtic already employs? Find players that are below budget that show promise and then develop them into stars? This strategy would differ from what Rangers currently employ which is throw money at transfer targets and hope they stick. This rarely works and throws the Ibrox club into debt. Sounds like they need someone with a bit more brains in charge over there.
