Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard may hold the key to the Hoop’s 10-in-a-row. Manager Neil Lennon just gave an exciting update on his status with the club.

Next season’s goals are no surprise to any Celtic supporter: win the 10-in-a-row. Rangers feel like they have the answer to stopping that, and the Hoops have let four players go in the last few days. But those of you who have been paying attention know this is the plan.

Neil Lennon has already said that the Hoops are going to be revamping their lineup heading into next season. The departure of Jonny Hayes and Jozo Simunovic have all but solidified that philosophy. So what needs to be done to win the championship next season?

First and foremost the future of Odsonne Edouard needs to be figured out. If he is going to return that will take a huge load of stress off of the front office and ultimately the club. If not, then a suitable replacement will need to be brought in using the transfer money to compliment Leigh Griffiths. After that, Fraser Forster needs to be brought back for at least another year if not permanently.

On one of those fronts Neil Lennon has given an update. Speaking with The Scottish Sun, Lennon gave an update regarding Edouard:

"“He hasn’t said anything to me about wanting to go. Whether that changes over the next while, we don’t know. But we have him on a really good contract and we are in a strong position to rebuff any interest in him.“We don’t want to sell him. We are happy with him and he seems quite happy here. We are going for Ten-in-a-Row and that might be a big motivating factor for him to stay.”"

Keeping Edouard in the fold would be huge for morale on the club, and would make Celtic supporters incredibly happy. The striker has been one of the most prolific in Scotland, and has even drawn comparisons to some of the Hoop’s greatest.

If Edouard remains with the club he drastically increases the chances of accomplishing the greatest feat in Scottish football history.
