There is one player that Celtic would love to bring back for the 10-in-a-row season, but La Liga-side Real Sociedad has plans to steal him.

Celtic will need all the help they can muster to achieve the coveted 10-in-a-row next season. Hoops manager Neil Lennon has already said that the club next season will look vastly different and revamped. That appears to be the case as both Jonny Hayes and Jozo Simunovic have already seen their exits.

So, to win the championship next season and make history the Hoops will need to retain some if their best talent. That means keeping Odsonne Edouard around (which is looking good), possibly keeping Fraser Forster for another campaign and more, as well as keeping Mohamed Elyounoussi on the team.

Is all of this possible? We think so. The Hoops may move on from some other players that would likely free up some space for other high-dollar players that are more “sure-fire” while also affording the Hoops the ability to bring in depth pieces as replacements for Hayes, and Simunovic.

But now there are rumours that La Loga-side Real Sociedad may want to make a move for winger Elyounoussi. The winger was on loan from Southampton and during his loan spell to Parkhead proved he was still a valuable commodity. Now, Real Sociedad may become a bidding competitor against Celtic according to Football Insider.

So, can the Hoops put in a big enough offer to keep Elyounoussi around? If not, is the winger really worth it? Let us know in the comments what you think about the Hoops keeping Mo around and whether or not he is worth the cost.
