Celtic get their revenge on a Rangers TV commentator, who made some silly remarks. The club’s social media account pulled no punches after earning the championship.

One day after the coveted nine-in-a-row league win for Celtic we can finally take a step back and assess our surroundings. It is always interesting the story lines that emerge after a championship is won, and this season is no different.

Whether it was Rangers looking quite dangerous in the first half, or the total shutdown of society due to the novel coronavirus, the 2019/2020 season was a very odd one to say the least. But perhaps the best side story to come of this is the absolute brilliant troll job the official Celtic social media account did on Tom Miller of Rangers TV.

After Rangers took a draw against the Hoops earlier in the season, Tom made sure to take his shots by telling Hoops captain Scott Brown ‘look to his laurels’. Of course this is when the Ibrox club and all its inhabitants firmly believed they were destined to win the championship this season after a third of the matches had been played.

Instead, Celtic came back stronger than ever after the winter break, and Rangers proceeded to have their annual meltdown. Now, their entire future as a club is at risk. Better yet, the Hoops were just crowned champions! Of course none of this was lost on the team as evidenced by their troll job on Tom:

How about that Tom? Let’s see what he has to say after 10-in-a-row.
