It has been quite a while but it looks like the former Celtic star is in no mood to let the Rangers fans forget about their hilarious 10IAR gaffe.

On Saturday 9 May it was 22 years since Celtic stopped the first ever 10 in a row attempt by Rangers. Bringing it screeching to a halt, famous goals by Henrik Larsson and then Harald Brattbakk sealed a league winning 2-0 win at home against St Johnstone.

Celtic FC brought all the unforgettable memories flooding back with their reminder and short highlights video posted on Twitter yesterday.

We remembered the tension, the goals and how we partied and celebrated. The tide had turned. Rangers only equalled rather than bettered Celtic’s original 9 in a row record and Wim Jansen was a managerial hero as a result.

Other people had plans for parties too, but they weren’t all follow followed through on the day. Alan Stubbs played in that game and couldn’t help trolling the Rangers fans with a great reminder on Twitter of how the day didn’t work out to plan for them.

It’s always a risk when you plan a party in advance. The Louden Tavern in Glasgow, a well known pub of the Rangers persuasion, got ahead of themselves. In the days before the match they took out advertisements announcing their 10 in a row party. Records don’t show if it became a wake rather than a party but Stubbs has an answer for anyone who missed out back then.

Stubbs clearly took great pleasure in resurrecting the old advert and story on twitter as he celebrated his part in that historic day and invited Rangers fans to join in celebrating with Celtic for a 10 in a row next season.
