Celtic transfer rumours have began to swirl as we approach what could be the summer transfer window. Now, they have their eyes on a Bulgarian forward.

Celtic have entered into a bid for Cherno More’s forward, Martin Minchev. The only problem is that three other teams have their eye on the Bulgarian, per the Scottish Sun. He has received high praise in his home country and his skills have gotten him noticed by The Hoops, who have been watching the youngster with keen interest.

The 19-year old has scored 10 goals in 74 games, earning four caps, and catching the attention of Torino, Anderlecht, and Celtic FC.

Minchev’s pro career started in 2017 and has put together a serious body of work in such a short space of time. In this season alone he has scored 6 goals in 21 appearances for Cherno More. He has all the talent in the world, what can he do with such experience to guide him at Parkhead?

Minchev is rated as a £1.5 million player after a relatively short, but successful, career. With his ability in the box arguably his greatest asset, he can score in tricky situations. He would be a breath of fresh air on the attack, as his aggression in starting games is highly respected.

Torino noticed him first, as they have been keeping tabs on him for a while and wish to get him to Italy this summer.

Anderlecht are interested, but the struggling club might fall short of their aspirations due to financial struggles.

Minchev’s CSKA Sofia, his current home, want to hold onto the rising star but it is likely that they will be outbid by a bigger club in the coming months.

This leaves the Bhoys to make a bid for the youngster during the summer transfer window. He is young and shape-able, and an absolute dream for someone looking to stack the first team with new talent.
