Celtic fans reacted in hilarious fashion to the dossier released by the Rangers that was supposed to shock Scottish football to the very core.

For almost a month, Rangers’ ‘explosive’ dossier on the SPFL promised to shake up Scottish football to its very core. After all, they made serious allegations against the governing body of ‘corruption’ and ‘bullying’.

And all that was on the basis of the fact that they had received information from a whistleblower. As a result, they did not hesitate in calling the suspensions of Neil Doncaster and Rod McKenzie and also an independent into the voting process that brought an end to the lower three Scottish leagues after managing to receive the support of the majority of the SPFL clubs.

Rangers were hoping for things to go the other way round though and clearly did not take the result in their stride. Surprisingly, it has taken them almost a month to release a document that they have claimed to have possession of since the very beginning. Better late than never though.

Unfortunately, the release of the dossier was a huge dud. In fact, the SPFL released a document immediately, claiming that there was not a single shred of evidence against them. As things stand, all 42 clubs have the dossier and will decide whether to call for an independent investigation during their EGM meeting on 12th May. But that is unlikely considering they will need 32 clubs to vote in favour of the motion.

Celtic fans though had a great time at the expense of their rivals. They took to Twitter to let them know what they exactly felt about their ‘explosive’ dossier:

Now it will be interesting to see whether the SPFL decide to take action against the Rangers if they fail to gain majority in their quest to get the original voting process investigated.
