Celtic legend and current pundit Chris Sutton has never been one to shy away from calling it like it is. Now, he is blasting Rangers for the latest debacle.

Chris Sutton was not only a legend but a fan favourite while he played with Celtic. Now, even though he is a pundit still continues to grow his Hoops legacy by routinely calling Rangers out for their regularly ridiculous actions.

The most recent Rangers debacle lies with calls of corruption and bullying by the SPFL against smaller clubs that kept them from voting for a resolution that would have ended the season in a way that benefited Rangers.

Rangers have now claimed they will release a dossier and name of the whistle-blower who gave up the SPFL. But they have now changed their tune on the issue, instead of calling out the SPFL for “bullying” and “corruption” it’s now “unfair play”.

Sutton does not hold back on this latest Rangers debacle in his latest interview with Scottish Football Extra and reported by the Daily Record:

"“It’s like Groundhog Day.“Rangers, massive deflection tactics. Any old excuse to deflect from what’s happened on the pitch.“I’m sick of the whole thing. If they have evidence, and I think Roy MacGregor said last week, put up or shut up.“If they have evidence they may get clubs on their side.“But if they’re going to keep quiet, as they have done so far, then this isn’t going anywhere. That’s plain to see.”"

This seems like another dramatic, public misstep that the Ibrox club will come to regret. It seems like Rangers are one of the only clubs in Europe that cannot get out of their own way, and feel like there is always a grand conspiracy against them.

In reality, the Ibrox club are always in dire financial straits due to mismanagement, and unfortunately it reflects poorly on all of Scottish football, not just their club. Though how much longer they will be around is a genuine question at this point of time.
