Celtic fans and former stars have had a wonderful time trolling the Ibrox club over the last few days. The entertainment has been top notch as expected.

While Rangers play all their cards with statements, protests and threatening legal action Celtic have kept it quiet as club generally. But on twitter they’ve had their fun with the club, ex-players and fans all joining in. We’ve covered Moussa Dembele trolling Rangers already,  here’s what the clubs social media team and Kieran Tierney had fun posting.

Over the weekend Celtic were remembering the historic game from 1998 where the league was won with a 2-0 victory over St Johnstone, stopping Rangers at 9 in a row and preventing the 10. This was one of many happy tweets as the game unfolded again online. Definitely the right sort of statement!

Then it was left to the Rangers to shoot themselves in the foot with a tweet asking their fans to share their memories from Ibrox. Kieran Tierney, who earlier left the Hoops for Arsenal, was back in the hearts of many Celtic fans with this early post on the thread.

Before long countless pictures of Celtic victories, celebrations, winning scoreboards and more rapidly appeared to turn that seemingly good idea into a potential post mortem at the next Rangers media team meeting. Yes, there were more pictures of Celtic players there than that of Rangers. Safe to say the idea backfired in spectacular fashion.

Moussa Dembele had his fun too as we’ve already mentioned.

Great fun all round and staying well ahead in the Twitter scores as well as on the pitch.
