A leaked letter that the Rangers sent to the SPFL following the passing of the motion to conclude the three lower leagues shows how delusional they really are.

It looks like that the Rangers will continue to pretend that they are set to be robbed off the Premiership title if the SPFL end up concluding the league season as things stand and declare Celtic as champions. The Hoops currently sit 13 points above Steven Gerrard’s side but if you heard the complaints coming out of Ibrox, you would think that it was the other way around.

Guess if you keep repeating a lie enough times, you start believing in it yourself. And for months the Rangers board have continued to feed the lie to their fans that they still had a chance of catching up with Celtic. So it is probably no surprise that they appear to be living in a make-believe world right now.

The fact that the majority of the clubs in Scotland decided to vote in favour of the motion to conclude all seasons right now seems to be lost on that. It should not be this difficult to figure out that clubs struggling for money due to the suspension of the season would want an immediate cash injection in order stay afloat.

Instead, they have continued to claim that the SPFL is corrupt, called for a number of their executives to be suspended and threatened legal action against them. And a letter from the Rangers board put out by the Daily Record shows them making four demands:

"In the strongly worded letter in response to the SPFL chairman demanding to see any evidence of wrongdoing, Park:says he WON’T provide evidence unless MacLennan, Doncaster and McKenzie aren’t involved.wants a copy of the league’s official whistleblower policy so the trio can’t have access to it.demands McLennan explains derogatory comments he made about Rangers in the past.accuses him of attempting to shut down the club’s concerns by denying them free speech."

If the Rangers do really have any evidence proving the corruption of the SPFL then they should just come out and provide it. Instead, it looks like they are just trying to just prove to their fans that they did their best to Celtic from winning the historic nine-in-a-row. Only if they had done so on the pitch as well.
