There has been interest in a Celtic superstar by numerous clubs heading into the summer. Celtic fans are saying ‘sell him’.
One Celtic star in particular continues to pop up in conversation and rumour about who may see their exit from the club this summer during the transfer window. The player in question is centre-back Kristoffer Ajer. The big Norwegian’s agent has already come out and said that the star will see his exit this summer from the club.
While it remains to be seen how this exit or transaction will take place, it sure has drawn the interest of some large globes across Europe. Perhaps that was the plan all along force Celtic’s hand by declaring an exit and other clubs will make offers too good to refuse.
While there are mixed views on Kristoffer Ajer’s potential exit, most Hoops fans have been echoing one theme- ‘sell him’. For the most part, Hoops supporters value loyalty above all else. The fact that Kristoffer Ajer and his agent are leveraging a potential move does not sit well with most.
Here are a few reactions across social media:
I like the lad,he leaves nothing on the pitch, but for a CB he lacks dominance in the air,and if the right money comes in we thank him for his efforts and we all move on.

I'd take cash for him. I've never rated big Ajer.

Completely agree. Thought he's been bang average this season. Hasn't improved. Top dollar - sell.

It comes as little surprise to see Celtic fans react in this way. Ajer has been a streaky player with intense hot streaks and incredible lows. Obviously every player wants to reach the highest levels of whatever sport they compete in. But, Ajer is still under contract, and to think he can leverage a move is bold.
Of course, this could be typical ‘rumour mill’ fluff, and Ajer will be right back in the Green and White next year. One thing is for certain, Hoops fans will have a closer eye on the Norwegian going forward. If he stays, he may have quite a bit to prove to the Hoops supporters and fanbase.
