Celtic fans have completely destroyed the Rangers on Twitter following UEFA’s announcement that they are looking to conclude all leagues seasons by 30th June.

And just like that, even the backdoor has been shut in the faces of the Rangers fans. After spending the good part of the last week hoping to pressure the league into declaring the season null and void, UEFA’s latest announcement must have dealt a huge blow to them while Celtic fans rejoice.

At the moment, the world has much more serious things to worry about than football. The global outbreak of the coronavirus has brought a huge change in our daily lives. Schools, colleges and offices are being shut down around the world, and many people have lost their jobs as well over the last couple of weeks.

But football means a lot to the fans as well, and many of them are waiting for updates on what will happen to the season when things return to normal and the season resumes, if it does in the near future. UEFA’s latest announcement has shed light on their concerns.

As it turns out, UEFA is planning to conclude this season at the latest by 30th June, considering that this crisis comes to an end in the near future. Seeing how things are starting to improve in China, there is certainly hope.

Unfortunately for Rangers fans though, this means that they cannot hide behind the excuse that Celtic were awarded a ‘tainted’ title by the SFA. Their ‘null and void’ agenda seems to be well and truly over. And Celtic fans did not waste any time in letting them know about it on Twitter following UEFA’s announcement.

The most important thing right now though is to take care of one’s health in these testing times. We would like to request our readers to please follow the advice that is being provided by heath officials in order to prevent the further spread of this virus.

And hopefully, the season will be back soon as well!
