Celtic took the draw against Livingston when they travelled to take on the club on Wednesday evening. Here are the hits and misses from the match.

On the surface, a draw against Livingston seems beneath what Celtic is capable of. Quite frankly, it is. However, if we take a look back to October, the Hoops could not take care of business on their own turf when it came to Livingston.

Livingston is always a tough match, and they remain one of the few clubs that remain that do not have more losses than they do wins. They continued that streak on Wednesday when they battled to a 2-2 draw.

Here are our “Hits and Misses” from the match:

Nir Bitton: Hit

The lad played well on Wednesday, and did everything that was asked of him. Lately, Nir Bitton has been one of the most dominant players on the pitch, and he did not disappoint on Wednesday as he played well to the squad’s strengths.

Callum McGregor: Hit

CalMac was an easy one to determine a “hit”. He was able to get the scoring going for the Hoops, and after a few weeks of questionable performances, it was nice to see him back in action. The Bhoy will be needed if the Hoops wish to finish out strong.

Christopher Jullien: Miss

It is not often that we say the new Bhoy was a hindrance. But he will likely wish to forget this performance and move on. The defence, who is led by Christopher Jullien was bullied all evening long.

Fraser Forster: Miss

Allowing two goals to Livingston is a squad effort, but some of it came down to the goalkeeper. While Fraser Forster has been a stalwart at the position all season, he came up lacking on Wednesday in what seemed to be a lack of concentration for the entire club.

James Forrest: Miss

Forrest has been all but Missing in Action (MIA) for the second half of the season. That did not change on Wednesday, and now questions have to be asked.
