Celtic will travel to Livingston on Wednesday in another Scottish Premiership League matchup. We try our best at predicting the starting XI.
Celtic need a great bounce back match. Yes, the Hoops won against St. Johnstone, but it can hardly be called a momentum grabber. Between a rough pitch, and some poor play, the Hoops need a good statement win against Livingston.
Livingston provides a good club to get back on track with. Competitive, and capable are two ways to describe Livingston, and a solid victory with a few goals would go a long way in helping get the Bhoys back on track.
Livingston sits fifth in the table, and represent the final team to not have lost more than they have won in the Scottish Premiership League. Celtic will need to field their best squad in order to make the statement they are looking for. In order to do that, they will need to get back to basics.
Two up top, in the form of Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard are almost a certainty. Other than that, very few risks will be taken with the starting squad. Possibly the biggest debate will be between Johnny Hayes and Greg Taylor. However, Greg Taylor has looked to be in better form recently, but Johnny Hayes remains a favourite of Neil Lennon.
Here is our predicted starting XI for Celtic when they visit Livingston:
GK- Fraser Forster
RCB- Nir Bitton
LCB- Kristoffer Ajer
RWB- James Forrest
CM- Scott Brown
CM- Callum McGregor
CM- Ryan Christie
LWB- Greg Taylor
ST- Leigh Griffiths
ST- Odsonne Edouard
