Celtic fans were in a fantastic mood at the end of Sunday’s match against Aberdeen when they began trolling Rangers through chants.
Despite the weather, and the questionable performances, Celtic fans were in a great mood at the conclusion of the Scottish Premiership League matchup against Aberdeen. Kristoffer Ajer came to the rescue late in the game by scoring the go-ahead goal to send the Hoops to victory.
The victory marked nine matches in a row in which Celtic has won, with seven of them with three or more goals. The Hoops are rolling needless to say, and will carry that momentum with them to Denmark when they take on FC Copenhagen in the Europa League Round of 32.
The same cannot be said for the Hoops’ cross-town rival Rangers. Their season has imploded, and all the talk of titles, championships, and screaming into the camera after defeating the Hoops in December all seems so far away now. While Rangers and their fans may be wanting to forget, it is clear Celtic fans have not.
After the match, Hoops fans sang ‘Welcome to the Party’ in a clear attempt at trolling Rangers, and it worked. The song has been used by Rangers, and they have tried adopting it as a type of anthem. Take a look:

Both the Bhoys and Rangers are preparing for the Europa League Round of 32, however, Celtic look more poised to find success in their current situation. Both clubs still have a lot at stake for the rest of the season, but as Celtic fans already know, and most Rangers fans are coming to terms with, the domestic title is all but locked up.
Celtic has decided that it wants to take all its competition by the horns, and are doing so without mercy. ‘Welcome to the Party’ here we go.
