Celtic managed to come out with all three points from Pittodrie Stadium after getting a 2-1 win in trying conditions against a well-drilled Aberdeen side.

Celtic were nowhere near their best against Aberdeen today. The extremely windy conditions did not help either with a number of players struggling on the day and no real standout performers.

Still the Hoops managed to squeeze out a win against the run of play in what was a true sign of champions. Yes, they might not even have been the better team on the day but they certainly know how to win. And at the end of the season, that’s what will matter most.

Here’s out 5 hits and flops from today’s 2-1 win against Aberdeen:

HIT: Kris Ajer

The defender has gotten a lot of stick lately from Celtic fans. His performances have clearly gone down since the start of the season, when he was the standout performer for the club.

And while he was not exceptional today in defence either, he managed to get the job done. And on the other side of the pitch, it was his goal that won all three points for the Hoops.

Showing the instincts of a natural finisher, he drifted into the Aberdeen box as Forrest put him through. And then the finish was absolute class.
