Here are the 5 hits & flops from Celtic’s 3-0 away at Broadwood that saw them bury the ghost of their 2006 elimination at the hands of Clyde.

Goals from Olivier Ntcham, Scott Brown and Vakoun Issouf Bayo mean that Celtic are through to the next round of the Scottish Cup, where they will take on St Johnstone.

The win also means that the Hoops have now buried the ghost of their past, when they lost 2-1 at the same stadium in 2006 to get knocked out of the Scottish Cup on Roy Keane’s debut. Neil Lennon might have failed as a player that day, but as a manager he was spot on.

Here are 5 hits & misses from their 3-0 win away at Broadwood.

HIT: Olivier Ntcham

Ntcham is quickly becoming a mainstay in Neil Lennon’s side this season. Since the Hoops shifted to 3-5-2, he has become an integral part of the side.

While the player’s talent has never been in question, past managers have failed to find him a regular place in the side. Now though he seems to be thriving. And while today Celtic played a more conventional 4-2-3-1, Ntcham impressed nonetheless.

Playing beside Scott Brown in midfield, he bagged a goal in what is quickly becoming a career-altering run in the first-team.
