FT: Motherwell 0-4 Celtic. Griff, CalMac and Eddy all looked fantastic tonight! No idea how anyone can claim Morelos is a better player than Edouard after these last few matches.

84′: SUBSTITUTION. Man of the Match Odsonne Edouard is being replaced by new Bhoy Patryk Klimala.

67′: Celtic are really pressing. In less a minute, McGregor and Odsonne have had excellent shots blocked by the Motherwell keeper.

63′: Ntcham blows an easy opportunity to add another goal. Should have found the back of the net. Instead, he sails it well over the bar from just a few yards out.

62′: Leigh Griffiths came SO CLOSE to his second goal. Right off the top bar.

58′: Another nice save from Forster as Motherwell is throwing everything they have at the Hoops.

56′: Celtic look to have made the adjustments needed in this half. They have been playing much more aggressively, and two goals is not enough for this squad.

51′: GOALLLLL!!!!!! Leigh Griffiths makes it two! Another goal for our Bhoy! Motherwell 0-2 Celtic!

We are back with second half action!

23′: Callum McGregor attempted a beautiful shot, but it sailed just over the bar. Missed opportunity.

Celtic are at Fir Park getting ready to take on Motherwell in another Scottish Premiership League matchup. The Hoops’ starting lineup is very similar the one Neil Lennon fielded against St. Johnstone last week. However, Scott Bain and Mohamed Elyounoussi have returned to the substitutes list, which is a great sign. When Mohamed Elyounoussi is healthy, he has proven to be a game changer with his electric-style play. He should get a few minutes today on the pitch, as he works towards being fully fit.

The match against Motherwell could prove to be a tricky one for the Hoops. Motherwell sits at third in the Scottish Premiership League table despite recent woes. Motherwell will want to get back on track in the league, and will be looking at Celtic as the perfect opportunity.

With Rangers faltering, as they tend to do this time of year, Celtic will want to capitalize on every opportunity. The Hoops need to come away with three points in order to put more space between them and their rivals. Furthermore, a solid showing against Motherwell will give the squad added momentum heading into their first Europa League Knockout match later this month.
