The hilarious revelation about Alfredo Morelos has left Rangers fans red-faced and Celtic fans rolling on the floor laughing.

Last Wednesday news broke out that a man was caught under Alfredo Morelos’ Lamborghini. It was thought that he was trying to cut the brake cables of the car and trying to cause harm to the Colombian in the process. The Rangers striker chased the suspected man and then later reported the incident to the authorities. As expected, Rangers fans decided to blame the Celtic fans without any proof.

Why? Because it is plausible that their cross-city rivals would be absolutely terrified of a man who has not scored against them in a dozen attempts. Anyways, the incident has taken a hilarious turn today that has left the Celtic fans absolutely rolling on the floor with laughter while Rangers have been left red-faced, especially considering the accusations that they made.

As it turns out, it was not a Celtic fan under Morelos’ car. Instead, it was a private investigator. Who hired him? Apparently Morelos’ wife!

According to the Daily Record, the man handed himself into the authorities and then told them that he had been hired by Yesnia Morelos to keep track of the striker. He decided to come forward himself because of the rumours floating around social media. The report goes on to state:

"“He was worried about the things being said between fans online, particularly the idea that someone was attempting to harm Morelos by cutting his brakes.“After taking legal advice, he thought the best thing to do was hand himself into police and give his side of the story.“He has told officers he is a professional investigator who was hired by Morelos’ wife.“The police thanked him for coming in and taking this responsible step.”"

This is an incredible revelation and one that will just pile on the agony of the Rangers fans who saw their team fall 7 points behind Celtic in the Premiership title race today following the Hoops’ 4-1 win away at Hamilton Academical.
