Here’s how Celtic will line-up as they travel to Perth to take on St Johnstone, looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership table.

Celtic XI

Fraser Forster

Kris Ajer

Jozo Simunovic

Christopher Jullien

Greg Taylor

Scott Brown (C)

Callum McGregor

Olivier Ntcham

James Forrest

Leigh Griffiths

Odsonne Edouard

Substitutes: Craig Gordon, Moritz Bauer, Jonny Hayes, Tom Rogic, Ryan Christie, Mikey Johnston, Patryk Klimala.

Celtic know if they have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership to as many as 8 points if they manage to beat St Johnstone. Rangers will be facing Ross County at the same time and although it is hard to see Steven Gerrard’s side lose two games on the trot, with the clumsy form they have shown since returning from the winter break, anything is possible.

Celtic though must makes sure that they remain focused on their own game. If Rangers’ loss against bottom-placed Hearts showed us anything, it is that any team can beat any team on a given day in the Premiership. Thus, the Hoops must stay on top of their game at all points of time.

The team that Lennon has picked to face St Johnstone is a bit confusing though. Is it a back three with Forrest and Taylor as the wing-backs. Or is it a traditional back-four, then who is playing on the wing opposite to Forrest. Is it Ntcham? Or will Edouard be cutting in from the left wing instead of teaming up with Griffiths?

Ryan Christie is also back from suspension but has only managed to make the bench today.
