Former Premier League and Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has showered praise and admiration onto one of Celtic’s biggest superstars.

Former Premier League legend Thierry Henry has showered praise upon Celtic’s superstar Odsonne Edouard recently. As the current manager for MLS-side Montreal Impact, and four-time Golden Boot award winner (a record), his words carry quite a bit of weight.

Odsonne Edouard has been on an absolute tear this season as he has scored 15 goals in 19 Scottish Premiership League appearances this year. Those types of numbers and production have attracted the attention of massive clubs across Europe who are now interested in his services.

They have also attracted the attention and praise from some notable footballers and managers, including fellow-Frenchman Thierry Henry.

According to Ally McCoist while speaking with the Daily Record, Thierry Henry had some nice things to say about the Hoops ace:

"“I spoke to Thierry Henry at the Liverpool vs Leicester City game and he really rates Edouard.“He was saying in France in particular (Edouard is admired) and he personally really, really thinks he’s got a chance of going right to the top.”"

That is some awfully big praise for Odsonne Edouard, but it is deserved. At some point in the future, Odsonne Edouard will be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, and has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world.

Until that time occurs, Odsonne Edouard will continue to be the best player in Scotland and help lead the Hoops to nine-in-a-row. The striker very well could become one of the greatest players to ever play for the Hoops, if his admirer’s words hold true.
