Celtic boss Neil Lennon has just made a surprise admission about new signee, Polish-striker Patryk Klimala ahead of Saturday’s match.

Celtic have recently signed Polish-striker Patryk Klimala, who is slated to slot in as cover for Odsonne Edouard, or even potentially act as a second-striker. Patryk Klimala comes highly rated, and at just 21-years of age, he still has plenty of room to improve under the Hoops fantastic system.

While the new striker will be active for Saturday’s Scottish Cup match against Partick Thistle, it is unlikely he would make his debut for the Green and White, unless as a late match substitute with the game all but in hand.

Patryk Klimala played well for Jagiellonia, and in 18 appearances was able to find the back of the net eight times, while adding another three assists to his line. His arrival may provide a nice boost to the Hoops offense.

However, Neil Lennon made a surprising admission about his new signing while speaking with the Scottish Sun:

"“I haven’t had a chance to see Patryk live, but we have watched him in the last few days and he seems fine.“He has integrated well and we have done a lot of work on him in the last while. Patryk had a good record in Poland, and at 21 there is a lot of room for improvement.“He does give us the option to change the formation. Patryk is a different type to what we have, he doesn’t come to the ball that often.”"

Neil Lennon has never seen Patryk Klimala live, and now he is willing to change his formation for for a player that has recently arrived at the club. However, as Neil Lennon does point out, his reputation has been fantastic during his time in Poland.

All that remains now is for the youngster to take the pitch in the Green and White and show his club and its fans why he was brought in to the club in the first place.
