72′: GREAT run and attack by the Bhoys. Again, so close. Still 1-0.

69′: CalMac’s shot bounces off the left post! So close! This match should be 4-0. Alas, Celtic 1-0 Hamilton.

HT: Celtic 1-0 Hamilton. Not been a ton of chances for either side, but the Hoops have been able to capitalize. Ryan Christie with the lone goal in this one.

Celtic welcome Hamilton to Parkhead on Wednesday evening as the two sides face off in a Scottish Premiership League battle. The Hoops will be without some of their top stars due to injury and rest ahead of Sunday’s Scottish League Cup final match with Rangers. Celtic has performed well this year, and has a ton of momentum following their match with Ross County. The Hoops were the victors to the tune of 4-1.

Hamilton has fared much worse this season, as they sit near the bottom of the table in ninth place. The club has either lost or tied in their last 13 matches, a far cry from the performances of the Hoops. However, the Hoops must stay on their toes and play great football in order to not let another one slip away like it did against Hibernian (draw) and Livingston to whom they lost to back in early October.

While the narrative has been to focus on this upcoming game against Hamilton, it is easy to read inbetween the lines with this club. Nearly everyone, including Neil Lennon has their eyes on Sunday against Rangers. However, they should be able to still deal with Hamilton fairly easy.
