FT: Celtic 2-0 CFR Cluj. Eddie comes up big and Elyounoussi bags his first goal as a Bhoy.

90′: Ntcham comes on for Christie. Not much left in the game. Clearly a clock management move.

85′: SUBSTITUTION. Hayes is coming on for Forrest

85′: Solid effort by Eddie. Just sails over the bar.

79‘: Elyounoussi flashes his speed and nearly adds an assist to his stat line tonight. Remains 2-0.

75′: Another offsides. First by Jullien two minutes ago, now Boli. These have ended attacks.

71′: Another James Forrest shot deflected. The bhoy has been trying all evening to find the net.

70′: It is pouring. Celtic have the distinct advantage in the match. However, Cluj is fighting hard still to claw their way back.

64‘: Great save by Forster to keep it 2-0.

59′: GOAAALLL!!! Elyounoussi finds the back of the net on a BEAUTIFUL shot. Celtic 2-0 Cluj!

51′: YELLOW CARD. Djokovich of CFR Cluj is booked

49′: Good, quick attack there by the Hoops. The cross was just off the mark.

46′: YELLOW CARD. Jullien is booked. Silly call, seems like a makeup call of the refs part after the baffling Rondon penalty.

We are back with the second half! Let’s go BHOYS!!

HT: Celtic 1-0 Cluj. The Hoops have dominated the first half. It is a shame we did not have this same squad the last time we faced Cluj in Paradise. Odsonne Edouard’s header highlights the first half.

44′: Another Hoops’ corner has been thwarted by Cluj. Are we ever going to find success on the corner?

42′: YELLOW CARD. Cluj’s Rondon is booked in his only box. Did not see much on the play, but we will take it!

40′: A promising attack for the Hoops was ended by an offsides on Elhamed.

33‘: Brown attempted a shot from about 30-yards. WAYYY off the mark. It is a bit slippery on the pitch.

30′: The Hoops have absolutely dominated and controlled this match. Let’s hope they can continue their ways.

26′: Offsides. CFR Cluj tried to make the most of the free kick. Forster defended well, but Cluj found the back of the net on the rebound. Luckily it did not count. Still Celtic 1-0 Cluj.

23′: Bolingoli took a nice shot from about 25-yards out. Just off the mark and high. Love the confidence.

20′: GOAL!!!! Odsonne Edouard gets it done. See that celebration?!? Celtic 1-0 CFR Cluj

19′: The second corner kick in a row that looked like it had a chance. Unfortunately, the match remains 0-0.

17′: SO CLOSE. Boli just off the mark from the left side.

12′: Jullien JUST missed a great header that sailed over the top of the bar. The Bhoys are threatening. Only a matter of time now.

6′: CFR Cluj threatened with a good attack. They have earned their first corner of the match.

3′: Celtic has had some good possessions to start the match. CFR Cluj is seeing a different squad this time around.

Celtic will taken on Romanian side CFR Cluj in their second match of the Europa League Group Stage. The last time these two clubs met, CFR Cluj knocked Celtic out of the Champions League Qualifying Rounds. The Hoops Champions League hopes were dashed.

Now, the two sides are reunited in Group E of the Europa League. The sides have a newly formed rivalry, and Celtic could treat this as a revenge tour of sorts. The Hoops firmly believed they were the better club the last time these two sides met. After some key transfers and acquisitions on Celtic’s part that is almost surely the case.

The Hoops have a distinct advantage going into tonight’s game. Despite losing in Paradise the last match, Celtic should have a great home field advantage over their foe.
