Keep up with all the live action as Celtic travel to Fountain of Youth stadium to take on Hamilton.
That ended up being much closer than it had appeared in the early stages of the game. Hamilton put on a strong showing after the break but Celtic come out with 3 points and that’s all that matters.
FT Hamilton 0-1 Celtic.
90+5′ Hamilton had an opportunity right at the end following a Jonny Hayes mistake but just can’t get a header on target.
90+2′ SUBSTITUTION
ON Hayes
OFF Christie
90+2′ Bayo gets a header from a Christie corner. But it is weak and doesn’t trouble Fon Williams in the Hamilton goal.
5 minutes of added time.
90′ Elhamed goes down in the box but no penalty. Minimal contact and he went down easy to be honest.
89′ Brilliant burst from Forrest before playing the ball wide to Rogic who can’t find a man with his cross.
88′ Some strong hold-up play from Bayo there before running out of space.
86′ Celtic try to pass their way into the Hamilton box but ultimately end up rolling it out of play.
84′ YELLOW CARD! Gogic. That was more for an accumulation of fouls than the immediate one he had conceded.
82′ Looks like Jullien wont be able to continue and Bauer might be coming on. Head injury for the Frenchman.
80′ Jullien is down here and has been for a while. Hope this is not an injury for the centre-back.
79′ Celtic fans hearts were in their mouths for a second there as a Hamilton player went down in the box and the referee pointed towards the spot… for a goal-kick.
78′ SUBSTITUTION
ON Bayo
OFF Edouard
77′ Boli just can’t seem to get find his crossing boots in this half. He does slide in a pass to Christie though who shoots over trying to curl it in.
74′ Ogkmpoe shoots just wide. They are getting closer. Celtic need to wake up or they might drop points in a game in which they could have score 4 or 5 in the first half itself.
74′ Hamilton win a corner. But Celtic manage to get it out.
71′ Hamilton shoot over the bar but they will be encouraged with the attacks piling up in this second half. Celtic have been sloppy to say the least in the last 10 minutes.
69′ SUBSTITUTION (Hamilton)
ON Beck
OFF Fjortoft
68′ Celtic had a free-kick in a decent position there but Christie shoots at the wall.
67′ Shaky from Forster. First he lets a ball into the box bounce and then mishandles it. Lucky it didn’t fall at the feet of a Hamilton attacker.
67′ SUBSTITUTION
ON Rogic
OFF Elyounoussi
64′ Christie had space to shoot there but Hamilton manage to get it off him just in time to launch a counter attack.
Hamilton are slowly but surely coming back into this game at the moment.
63′ Elhamed gives away a free-kick in a dangerous position. Hamilton float it in but it is straight at Forster who catches easily.
62′ Elhamed charges at the opposition defence but ends out running out of space to run in the end.
61′ Terrible cross-field ball from Brown. Hamilton get a throw-in.
60′ Bolingoli’s delivery has been off in the second half.
59′ Hamilton get a free-kick and launch the ball into the box which finds an attacker but he heads wide. Half chance that Hamilton would have been hoping to go in.
57′ Hamilton get the ball into the Celtic box but it is easily cleared out.
55′ Celtic playing some brilliant passing football here. Just need a second to kill this game off.
53′ SUBSTITUTION (Hamilton)
ON Ogkmpoe
OFF Oakley
51′ CLOSE! Woodwork denies Forrest a second. Brilliant again from the winger to leave two defenders for dead but Fon Williams gets to it to tip it onto the crossbar.
49′ First Elyounoussi and then Forrest try to open up the Hamilton defence but to no avail. Brown concedes a foul to bring the attack to an end.
47′ Corner for Celtic. But again we manage to get nothing out of a Christie ball.
46′ Elhamed does brilliantly to cut out the Hamilton attack. Brown is limping here though.
We are back underway at the Fountain of Youth Stadium. Big second half coming up.
Celtic could have had a couple more there considering how much time they have spent in the Hamilton final third. But a combination of a resolute defence and bad luck means that the game is still very much open despite the fact that the hosts have not had a sniff on the Hoops yet.
HT Hamilton 0-1 Celtic.
44′ YELLOW CARD! Fjortoft. Free-kick in a very dangerous area for Celtic.
42′ Elyounoussi wins a free-kick in a dangerous area but Celtic take it quickly which was definitely the wrong decision.
40′ Last five minutes of the half. Would be a great time to get a second.
Till now it is clear that Elyounoussi is not a chalk-on-the-boots player who will stay on his wing for the entirety of the game.
39′ Celtic play the ball out of the back nonchalantly, beating the press from the Hamilton attack without a sweat.
37′ Hamilton get their first shot on target but it is easy for Forster.
35′ The ball just doesn’t fall at the feet of a Celtic player as it bobbles around the box for a while before being cleared away.
34′ Hamilton look like on a dangerous break but then give the ball away cheaply.
Bolingoli is starting to look like the player that could be a fixture in the first-team for years to come.
31′ Brilliant pressing from Celtic there to force Hamilton into a mistake.
30′ Things have settled down a bit as Hamilton start to find their feet a bit.
29′ Brown’s ball has too much on it for Boli. Hamilton goal-kick.
Elyounoussi has faded away a bit since that electric start.
26′ Forrest’s ball just cannot find Edouard who was lurking in the Hamilton box.
25′ Relentless pressure being put on the Hamilton defence here. Interesting to see how long they can hold on for before a second goes in.
22′ Celtic waste two corners. Starting to think somebody other than Christie should start taking them.
20′ The Hamilton defence has looked solid since that early opener.
19′ The Bhoys look in full command as they pass the ball from one side to the other without any trouble.
16′ Hamilton launch a long throw into the Hoops box but end up wasting it by fouling Brown.
15′ Hamilton just can’t string two passes together when they do have the ball and that is not very often.
14′ Edouard heads a Boli cross over the bar. Relentless pressure from the Bhoys in Yellow (for today).
11′ Christie plays a hopeful ball into the box but their is too much flight on the ball for Edouard to reach it.
10′ The Bhoys win another free-kick as the referee has a talk with a Hamilton player.
Mohamed Elyounoussi is looking like a liveware already, 8 minutes into his Hoops career.
6′ Celtic give the ball away in a dangerous area but Ajer gets things under control, setting off a counter attack that results in Christie being taken down for a free-kick in the Hamilton half.
4′ GOOOOOAL! JAMES FORREST! What a start! Forrest carries on his hot streak. Elyounoussi already has his first Celtic assist.
1′ Brilliant start from the Scottish Champions as they almost score in the first minute.

Celtic return to Premiership action for the first time since their 2-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox, as they take on Hamilton away at the Fountain of Youth stadium.
The game marks the debut of arguably the club’s marquee summer signing, Mohamed Elyounoussi, who joined on a season-long loan from Southampton and will be filling in for the injured Mikey Johnston. Kris Ajer will also make his return to the starting line-up as he lines up alongside Christopher Jullien in the center of defence replacing Nir Bitton in the team that kept a clean-sheet away at Ibrox in the Old Firm Derby.
Tom Rogic is also making his much awaited return from injury but the Australian will be present on the bench instead of the first XI.
The Hoops will be looking to continue their perfect start to the season which has seen them win all 4 of their Premiership games this season.
