2) Tierney and Dembele a Ruthless Combination

Both ended the game with goals, Dembele assisted the Tierney goal; what a combination these two were in this contest with Aberdeen.

Tierney only deserved the goal he got today. For the past few games and rather months, the young Scot has been critical in build-up play and supplying precise crosses and passes.

The 20-year-old is always dangerous running up the wing. What awareness from Dembele to spot the run, and Tierney’s all-around abilities including finishing got the job done.

Speaking of momentum, what a way for Dembele to get back into the swing of producing. The Frenchman failed to produce in four games in all competitions prior to this, and he’s found the back of the net again which will hopefully set him back on track.

The 21-year-old has a great chance of producing more with the next two upcoming opponents, which could put him back into form.
