2) Superb goal from McGregor, amazing play from Charly Musonda

It’s funny how much we can change our views on the form of a player in just one play.

Musonda wasn’t off the best of starts in his young stint with the Bhoys. A rather embarrassing loss to Kilmarnock took a toll on the CAM’s stats. The Chelsea loan-option found some chances, but could never really finish them off.

Same for McGregor. No doubt that the 24-year-old was creating a whole lot of good play for Celtic in the past few months. However, McGregor went a whole heap of games without a goal for a good portion of time.

But again, it only took one play. Musonda connected with a bouncing ball that eventually flew over the back-line of Zenit, towards McGregor and eventually into the back of the net. What a way to send Celtic Park into a frenzy.

First point for Musonda at the Hoops, and a first breakthrough for McGregor in a long time. That’s his 8th goal on the season for the Scot.
