Group A:

This group seems to have a clear division, with Benfica and Manchester City highlighting the group and mystery sides in Olympiacos and CSKA Moscow in the mix.

Benfica and Man City are becoming established sides capable of going deep in this tournament. The question here is if Manchester City can maintain a consistent form to get out of the group and possibly win it.

For me, the other question is just who are CSKA Moscow. Are they the side that went deep in to the competition earlier this decade or the one that finished dead last on just three points in a group with Monaco, Bayern Leverkusen and Tottenham Hotspur.

Olympiacos made it in to the competition this season by beating Croatian side Rijeka 3-1 on aggregate and may be the weakest side on the pitch. They may also have the biggest home advantage with the crowds they are known for in Greece. Just call them the complete opposite of Manchester City in the stands.
