Predicted Order of Finish:

Andy:

1. Celtic

2. Aberdeen

3. Rangers

4. Hearts

5. Hibernian

6. St. Johnstone

7. Dundee

8. Motherwell

9. Ross County

10. Partick Thistle

11. Kilmarnock

12. Hamilton Accies

Ultimately the gap between Celtic and everyone else in the league continues to grow. It won’t help much that Celtic make the group stages and the cash continues to poor in for the Parkhead club. Equally it hasn’t helped that no other Scottish club is left in a European competition. Sevco were dumped quickly and Aberdeen failed to make it to the final round of Europa League qualification. Until other teams start doing things in Europe and gain access to the money that is there, nothing is going to change, especially if Celtic continue to make it to the group stages. Heck, even the £8 million alleged fee for making it to this point and bowing out is a ton more than anyone else in the SPFL is going to make. Let’s just say the biggest race to follow is going to be who is going down…with Killie and Hamilton Accies looking like sure bets to battle to the end to avoid automatic regulation.

Conall:

1. Celtic

2. Rangers

3. Aberdeen

4. Hibernian

5. St Johnstone

6. Hearts

7. Kilmarnock

8. Motherwell

9. Ross County

10. Dundee

11. Partick Thistle

12. Hamilton Accies

I think Rangers can push Aberdeen out of second place given that the Dons lost several key players this off season including Jonny Hayes and Niall McGinn. Like last year I predict that hopeless Hamilton will be hovering around the foot of the table for large periods of the season.

Next: Celtic get Astana in UCL Playoff Tie

Without ICT there to wallow below them I fear that they could be the side that will go down automatically. I predict Neil Lennon’s Hibs to hit the ground running and finish in a very respectable fourth and may even have a decent cup run.
