The Celtic Bhoys Scottish Premiership predictions
Craziest Prediction:
Andy: Celtic will go out in the League Cup semi-final
This one is a big hunch, but I have a feeling we’ll see a League Cup semi-final that will feature Hibs vs. Celtic and a Celtic squad in the full throws of Champions League football. Call me crazy, but I don’t see the Bhoys concentrating as hard domestically if they are really in their group, and I firmly believe they won’t get the “group of death” once again. While it is certainly possible the squad rotation could get Celtic through, a matchup with Hibs in the semi-final does us in as Lennon’s side raises a domestic cup this season. Let’s be honest, advancing in Europe vs. the League Cup…I’ll take the former every time.
Conall: Pedro Caixinha will not see the start of next the season.
It is fairly evident that Pedro Caixinha took a poisoned chalice when he accepted the post as manager of the Ibrox tribute act. To deliver the unrealistic expectations that a good portion of their delusional fans expect is something that Jose Mourinho would struggle to do. That being said, the Portuguese man has now had a good portion of time to assemble his own squad and if truth be told I am still left feeling unimpressed. Apart from the ancient Bruno Alves they are a collection of unknowns. I think they have a chance of pushing Aberdeen for 2nd place this season but Pedro will soon find that 2nd place will not be accepted by the fans of Zombie FC.
