Manager of the Year:

Andy: Neil Lennon, Hibernian

Ian Cathro….no, not really folks. Come on, he’s leading the list of gaffers to get sacked before the season even gets going and for good reason. But, back to the question at hand. Hibs are back in the SPFL and for those of us who got in to Celtic and the Scottish game in the 1990’s, the top flight feels a lot more normal with them back. But, Neil Lennon’s side isn’t just going to be content to stay up. They are back with the hopes of being a major player, and Celtic fans are well-versed in just how good of a manager Lennon can be in the Scottish game. I fully expect Brendan Rodgers to be in the mix, but unless Celtic do something special again this season, it could go to someone else and Lennon is my first choice.

Conall: Brendan Rodgers, Celtic

It may seem like the obvious choice but I think this year the Celtic can step it up and reach an even higher level than they did last time out. The shrewd additions made to the squad over the summer including Ntcham and Benyu can add that little bit of extra quality and help the hoops progress even further in Europe. Of course another unbeaten season would be near impossible to envision although if this team has taught us anything it is to never count them out.
