Celtic left itself plenty to do on Wednesday night after not scoring in the home leg. Fans were on pins and needles, few have fingernails left, but it was all worth it.

A late James Forrest goal gave Celtic a 1-0 lead and it was all the Bhoys needed in a nervy affair. Despite the lack of goals, Celtic were on the front foot often and had plenty of chances in this contest.

Forrest was chief amongst those with great opportunities, it just took him until the 69th minute to get one to go in.

He took on a defender down his favored right side and snuck one between the keeper and the post.

Moments earlier, Celtic left back Kieran Tierney nearly gave the Hoops the lead with a right-footed curler that just sailed inches wide.

Either way, the Bhoys will advance and have the opportunity to take on the following potential opponents in the Champions League Playoff round:
