7. Moussa Dembele vs. Sevco

Any meeting with Sevco this past season was a big deal. Celtic’s Glasgow rivals were finally able to compete in the league with us after starting over as a club. But, meeting in the League Cup semi-final had something extra special to it following what happened in the 2015-16 season. Celtic weren’t about to go down to defeat and Moussa Dembele made sure to remind Sevco who was boss all season long. For all the goals scored, none were as emphatic a statement than the League Cup semi-final beauty from Dembele.

With time running out in regulation it felt like this one was going to extra time and penalties. Instead, Dembele knocked home the game-winner in stylish fashion, flicking a backheel in to the net for the win! Celebrations and libations ensued as revenge was had and an unbeaten season was kept alive.
