1. Moussa Dembele vs. Sevco

New Years Eve is supposed to be about joyous times and looking ahead to a new year to come. However, it started off with one of the most bitter rivalries in world football taking center stage. It also started on a down note for Celtic fans gathered in pubs all over the world. With Sevco up 1-0 early on, thoughts of the invincible season were shredded. That is until Moussa Dembele snuck loose on the back side of a corner kick in the 34th minute and was set up for one of the most dramatic and insane goals of the season.

His ability to take a smooth fist touch and the roof the ball in one move sent A.J. Hudson’s here in Chicago in to a frenzy and it sure was the most memorable goal of them all against Sevco. Put it on a holiday and you have the stuff of legends for us anyway.

What was your Goal of the Year? With so many to choose from this past season, narrowing it down to this list was no easy task.
