The 5 SPL records Celtic will topple this season
Most Consecutive Games Unbeaten in a Season
This is one record the Bhoys have firmly in the bag. Celtic have gone 36 games unbeaten in Scottish Premiership play already. That mark topples the previous record of 32 games.
It was a mark also set by Celtic during the early 2000’s (by now you should have expected that). Back in the 2003-04 season Celtic went a full 32 games unbeaten. As good as that Celtic squad was, this one is better in just about every measure already.
Not only have they hit 36 games unbeaten, but as we have highlighted previously, this group is doing it in style. In fact, two more victories and Celtic will make it so that any team who wants to top their record-breaking season will have to go almost without drawing a match all season.
Even this incredible season for Celtic isn’t without a draw or four so far, so good luck topping that mark the rest of the SPL.
