Most Wins in a Season

You don’t break the record for most points in a season without also looking like you are going to set other records. Celtic’s 2001-02 campaign saw them win 33 games in league play that year.

The win over Aberdeen on Friday pushed Celtic’s win total this season to 32 matches. You can likely see where this is going, but a pair of wins to cap off an unbeaten season this year would also mean a new SPL record again.

With Celtic now 30 points clear at the top of the table, keeping an eye on an unbeaten season and winning out has to be in the minds of everyone in the squad regardless of the rotation that is happening to keep star players fit for the Scottish Cup finale.

Glasgow derby’s can be tricky, so watch out for that away venture to Partick Thistle. But seriously, this is one of the records that has felt like a foregone conclusion for some time now.

Don’t be surprised to see this side go out in style and break this record as well.
