Ralston has been an absolute revelation this season for Celtic. Coming into the campaign, not many fans would have had high expectations from the full-back.

His performances for Celtic till then had not been particularly impressive and he was viewed as a player who was destined to leave the club in the near future after failing to break into the first-team picture.

Things have changed drastically for Ralston this season though. The club did not have any other right-back at the start of the season and as a result, he would get an opportunity to start there for a run of games.

Ralston took the opportunity with both hands, showing improvements on both ends of the pitch and as a result, he has played quite a bit of football this season till now. But even then, it feels like he has fallen behind Josip Juranovic in the pecking order in recent times.

With the Croatian international out with an illness at the moment, this might be a big chance for Ralston though to show the manager why he deserves to start.

Liam Scales

Scales arrived at Celtic from Shamrock Rovers with a lot of expectations. But while he had been a standout at his former club, at Parkhead, he has found opportunities hard to come by till now.

He has gotten a few chances lately and impressed for the most part. Yet, Greg Taylor appears to be the left-back that Postecoglou seems to trust the most when it comes to the big games.

One would expect Taylor to be left out of the starting XI against Raith Rovers though and this might be a great opportunity for Scales to show exactly what he is capable of and why he should be competing for the left-back spot at Celtic right now.
