The Hoops are looking to beat Hearts on Wednesday as they travel to Edinburgh to faceoff in Tynecastle in another Scottish Premiership League matchup. After losing out to CFR Cluj in the final Europa League Group Stage match, the Hoops will be looking continue gaining momentum heading into the January break.
The Hoops most recently defeated Hibernian in a Scottish Premiership Match on Sunday evening, which should help propel Celtic in Wednesday’s matchup against Hearts. The Bhoys may be a few men down, with one superstar already ruled out.
Ryan Christie has been ruled fit for the match, and it will be interesting to see if he gets the nod for the start, or if he will only be available from off the bench. However, he may not be needed in today’s match considering Hearts sits near the bottom of the table in the Scottish Premiership League. Second from the bottom to be exact.
That should not persuade Celtic boss Neil Lennon from resting too many of his players though. Just last month Hearts was able to pull out a draw against Rangers, causing the Hoops’ rivals to fall two points down the table. Celtic cannot afford for that to happen to them, especially considering Hearts’ season to date.
