Scott Sinclair has recently posted a message on Instagram calling out to his boss Neil Lennon, reminding the Celtic skipper that he is ready to go.
Scott Sinclair has had an immensely troubling time to try and find any type of playing time on the pitch this season. What is most surprising about Scott Sinclair’s predicament is that during a time when Celtic has so many injuries, he still cannot convince Neil Lennon to give him the run out, even against lesser quality clubs.
Since joining the Hoops, Scott Sinclair has scored 60 goals and 34 assists in over 160 games. Despite a slowdown towards the end of last season, Scott Sinclair has been one of the most reliable goal scorers Celtic has had in recent memory. Clearly something is amiss between the player and manager.
To make matters worse, Sinclair is rumoured to be on the out, possibly as soon as this January, however, those rumours have been swirling about since the beginning of the last summer.
Taking to Instagram, Scott Sinclair showed off his health and fitness, once again reminding Neil Lennon that he is ready to take the pitch as soon as he is called upon:
As previously stated, it is still one of the biggest mysteries of recent Celtic history as to why one of the most reliable, and dominate players the Hoops have employed cannot find minutes on this Neil Lennon squad. There are certainly more questions than answers with regards to the Scott Sinclair scenario.
In any case, with loads of injury blows, and the need for some firepower, much talk about additions to this club have been taking place for the January winter transfer window. Perhaps though, one of the biggest answers to some of Celtic’s holes is lying right in front of them with Scott Sinclair.
