Celtic youngster and Forest Green Rovers loanee continues to shine after finding the back of the net once again.
Good news keeps on coming in for Celtic. After a dominating 6-0 performance on Saturday over Ross County, Hoops fans have more to celebrate about. The momentum shift for the club could easily be seen post-match on Saturday. After a couple of hiccups during the last few domestic matches, the Hoops are back on track.
Momentum will be huge heading into Thursday’s match with Italian side Lazio as Celtic return to Europa League action. Lazio is easily the toughest opponent that the Hoops will face in Group E during the Group Stages. The Hoops have done well in the Group Stages so far as they sit atop the Group E table.
However, the win is only one thing Celtic has to be excited about. Down in England’s League Two, Celtic youngster Jack Aitchison has scored his second goal for Forest Green Rovers. Aitchison went to the club on loan to continue to develop in hopes that one day soon he could provide a real option for the Hoops first squad.
Aitchison has always been widely considered as one of Celtic’s best youth prospects and now he is proving why many have been so high on the Bhoy. If Aitchison can continue to score goals and improve, his return to Celtic may include a first squad promotion. Of course, that is dependent on a multitude of factors considering this year’s squad is one of the best the Hoops have had in years.
The 19-year old has had his struggles with Forest Green Rovers. However, his continued improvement and development is what should be noted. His production should continue to increase, and his latest goal could prove to be the catalyst that opens the floodgates for more.
