Rangers “star” Ryan Jack had a lot to say to the Scottish Sun regarding the Rangers’ loss to Celtic in Ibrox, proving the Rangers are still reeling from the loss.
Celtic went in to Ibrox Stadium and destroyed Rangers 2-0 during the September Glasgow Derby clash. Now it appears that despite Rangers sitting atop the Scottish Premiership table (momentarily), they still cannot get over the loss.
Celtic have been playing very well domestically and in the Europa League. It only makes sense that after a loss to Livingston that Rangers “star” Ryan Jack would pipe up to the media regarding Celtic.
“Even in the Old Firm we just weren’t great but they weren’t anything special.
“I don’t think any team in the last six, nine months has played us off the park or been a better football team than us.”
Those are some pretty strong words coming from a player whose club got destroyed at home against a team that “wasn’t anything special”. Perhaps focusing on the next match and hoping that the Hoops do not catch you in the table just one week should be the priority. Instead, in typical fashion, the Rangers are still reeling from the loss against the Hoops.
- Kristoffer Ajer opened up about his Norwegian and Celtic teammate Mohamed Elyounoussi during the international break. It is something to make Celtic fans feel good after a disappointing loss heading into the break.
- UEFA has struck again. The club now faces another charge after a firecracker incident during the Europa League match against CFR Cluj.
- Finally, much to the disagreement of Hoops fans, Karamoko Dembele is possibly being sought out by European giants such as Arsenal.
