Celtic continues rolling while earning their third straight victory since suffering a crushing defeat against CFR Cluj. Hearts proved no match against the Hoops prolific offense that was spearheaded by Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Callum McGregor.

An all around solid match was played today by Celtic, and not only did the victory continue to keep the The Bhoys on top of the table, but valuable lessons were also learned. Bayo was fantastic in his “full debut” for the club by scoring two goals, and coming a hair’s length away from a hat trick. Celtic continues to gain momentum after a devastating defeat to CFR Cluj and is beginning to look like a world class club again after three defining victories. And finally, the defence is beginning to have some chemistry while not being as much of a liability.

Vakoun Issouf Bayo Proves he was Worth the Wait

The Ivory Coast native joined Celtic earlier this year when he joined the club from Dunajská Streda. Bayo was only able to see action with Celtic when he came in for Scott Brown late in a match against Kilmarnock last February. Since that match over seven months ago, fans have been wondering what exactly Bayo is capable off.

Bayo answered the question when he electrified fans today. Bayo scored two goals and nearly found himself with a hat trick. After a fantastic start and a “full debut” Bayo proves he is another weapon at Celtic boss Neil Lennon’s disposal. It is a scary thought considering the firepower that Celtic already has on the offensive side of the pitch.
