Team News: Rogic returns as Christie makes the bench

Celitc has made three changes to the team that beat Motherwell in midweek with Scott Bain, Tom Rogic and Mikey Johnston starting against Dundee.

Rogic returns to the side after a spell out through injury, while Ryan Christie also returns from injury to take a place on the bench.

With Celtic set for a festive double-header against Aberdeen and Rangers, manager Brendan Rodgers has elected to rest Craig Gordon, Scott Brown and Odsonne Edouard – with the latter not being risked after limping off against Motherwell.

The return of Rogic and Christie is a welcome boost to a side that lost 2-0 last weekend against Hibernian but returned to the top of the Scottish Premiership with Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Motherwell.

A win today will see Celtic top of the table for Christmas and send an alternative Xmas message to would-be title challengers who have ideas above their position.

CELTIC XI: Bain; Ralston, Benkovic, Simunovic, Izaguirre; Ntcham, McGregor; Forrest, Rogic, Sinclair; Johnston.
