If you would’ve told me that Rogic would be surplus to begin the season I would’ve called you crazy. But, one of the best early signs in the Brendan Rodgers era has been the improvement of the young attacking options in the middle of the park.

Stuart Armstrong and Callum McGregor have become capable options in the attack, meanwhile, Rogic has become a player that can’t last much beyond 60 minutes in a match this season.

This isn’t to suggest that Rogic isn’t a good player, far from it. He is a good player, but he also isn’t exactly getting the starting nod each and every week. Nor is he a player that most miss when he isn’t in the match.

He’ll be remembered this season for snatching a 3-2 win at Motherwell with a 90th-minute strike. He’ll also be remembered for his incredible start to the campaign, but as the season has worn on, Rogic has worn down.

Fresh blood in the mix for attacking options in the midfield appears to be on Rodgers’ wish-list, and that could mean Rogic would be allowed to move.

Given his play earlier this season, there are bound to be plenty of teams interested in a 24-year-old midfielder who can score goals when he is on his game.
